Grown-Ass Man Steals Puck Meant For Little Kid

Buffalo Sabres coach Dan Bylsma was just trying to do something that happens hundreds of times a year at NHL games: tossing a puck that ended up in the bench area to a little kid in the crowd. This time, some self-important man decided to intervene.

Okay, guy, let’s get a few things straight here.

  1. If you are over the age of 14, the puck is never being thrown to you (with the occasional exception if you are an attractive woman).
  2. If you are over the age of 14 and happen to catch a puck, you are obligated to look around you and give it to a little kid in the vicinity. Catching a puck gently tossed over the glass doesn’t make for a very compelling story, and the joy you will get out of it pales in comparison to how happy it will make a six-year-old.
  3. If you catch a puck tossed over the glass while staring a little kid dead in the face, and then stick it in your back pocket as you sit down in your seat, the only conclusion that can be drawn is that you are a bad, bad man.

Luckily the Penguins have the ethics, unlike one of their fans.
