Joakim Noah Leaves Bulls Loss With Shoulder Sprain

Joakim Noah left the Bulls’ 105-102 loss to the Nets late in the third quarter, after an attempted steal resulted in his shoulder being yanked awkwardly.

Coach Fred Hoiberg termed the injury a sprain, while Noah said he heard his shoulder pop out. X-rays were negative, and an MRI will be done tomorrow.

If Noah is out for an extended period, the Bulls could be in big trouble. Over the weekend Jimmy Butler publicly called out new coach Fred Hoiberg, and the loss at home to the 8-20 Nets leaves last year’s number three seed in the East with a 15-11 record.
