I’ve been repeatedly watching the replay of this no-look, behind-the-head pass from Isaiah Thomas that set up Jae Crowder’s game-sealing three, trying to figure out at what point Thomas spotted Crowder on the wing, and I never see him glance over there. But it sounds like it might be one of those sports ESP things.
“A pretty good bond — we played a lot together on that second unit last year, and again on the first unit this year,” Thomas said. “It’s where I just know where he’s at at all times. He’s my bail-out guy. I just know where he is when I’m attacking and we connect.”
The Celtics topped the Bucks, 112-107, and don’t look now but Boston is third in the East and has three first-round draft picks this summer.
