Rob Refsnyder, a utility guy who featured in a few games with both the Yankees and Blue Jays before heading to Cleveland at the end of 2017, notched what could very well be the most memorable play of his career today in a random spring training at-bat.
Batting in the fourth inning, Refsnyder smashed a hit that, in a normal MLB park, would have been a long double. But at this charming field in Goodyear, Arizona, it went straight through a danged hole in the center-field wall, allowing outfielder Manuel Margot both a moment of confusion and the chance to make the touchdown sign.
Refsnyder got to second base for his feat. But come on, that should just be a homer.
