The article could maybe have done with more of a write-up on the technical/defensive side of the game - it’s the part of the game that probably looks weirdest to new viewers. Snooker is one of the great TV sports. The BBC’s coverage is incredible. The commentators are all ex world champs and genuinely analyse the game. Watching O’Sullivan at his best is like mid-late 90s Michael Jordan or early 2000s Federer. A sublime experience. Read more

One other thing: there’s a few decent, simple cricket flash games out there to try. I like “Smashtastic Cricket”, which is REALLY simplified (all you do is bat), but it’s got a few neat RPG-esque elements to it since you play a batsman over the course of six world cups. Read more
