What are you talking about? You’re acting like those deals are for shows that they’re not doing now. And they tend to give some kind of hints about upcoming new expenditures, as well. They're about to have the most profitable years in wrestling history and have had a PR makeover, so why even bother with something that… Read more
I’m not sure what you’re talking about? We don’t know if Fox (or USA for the increase) demanded any production changes or anything like that, but they’re basically doubling the TV rights in a year. They’ll be profiting at least $200 million/year from them. Read more

Exactly. Given the KSA handling of all of this, how could anyone expect them to let WWE do a “normal” show next Friday instead of a repeat of Greatest Royal Rumble’s propaganda extravaganza? Read more

I thought that was supposed to be misleading by design but not the way you’re thinking. Bliss-Banks in Abu Dhabi was “the first women’s match ever in the Middle East” (it wasn’t, but let’s keep going) because, in their fantasy land, WWE “pushed for change” or whatever, so the way to change the KSA is to go there. I wasn't dismissing the Cuba thing in and of itself, just that it was a terrible analogy to the position WWE is in. Read more

...did you read the rest of the article? Should make it fairly obvious. Read more
Re-read the article. It was reported right after Greatest Royal Rumble that the next Saudi show would be in November. The exact date was likely on the books the whole time. Are you really naive enough to think this isn’t by design, even though it couldn’t be more obvious? Read more
