Denver: Diamondbacks 5, Rockies 1
Patrick Corbin pitched a one-hit gem, striking out 10 Rockies in nine innings. Corbin is now 7-0 and owns a 1.44 ERA and a .98 WHIP. Patrick Corbin, everyone!

Cleveland: Indians 10, Mariners 8
Hey look, the Indians are, uh, good? They improve to 26-17 thanks to a walk-off home run from Yan Gomes in the bottom of the 10th inning. Yan Gomes is officially the second-coolest Gomes in baseball.

Milwaukee: Dodgers 3, Brewers 1
Clayton Kershaw pitched a complete game and was backed up by home runs from Matt Kemp and Andre Ethier. So Don Mattingly probably won't get fired today!

Detroit: Red Wings 3, Blackhawks 1
Yikes, Blackhawks. Now would be a good time to get your shit together. The Red Wings now have a 2-1 series lead thanks to two quick goals from Gustav Nyquist and Drew Miller and a brutal no-call. Patrick Kane scored the Hawks' only goal, and Jonathan Toews remains scoreless in his…

Yeah I noticed that, too. Also a few Rajon Rondos in the later examples, I think. Read more

Boston: The summer of Gronk is back on!
Gronk's forearm infection has finally cleared up, and he's getting one last surgery before getting back to his usual Gronk self. Hurray!

Los Angeles: Kings 4, Sharks 3
The good news for the Sharks is that they actually managed to score some goals against Jonathan Quick. The bad news for the Sharks is that they gave up back-to-back goals late in the third period and totally farted away a win.

Boston: Bruins 3, Rangers 2
The Bruins won in overtime thanks to Brad Marchand's game-winning goal. Hoo boy! It's New York vs. Boston! It doesn't get much better than this, folks! No love lost between these two cities! What a rivalry! Pew pew pew!

St. Petersburg: Red Sox 4, Rays 3
Up 3-0 in the ninth, the Rays appeared to have this one locked up. But then Will Middlebrooks smacked a bases-loaded double off Fernando Rodney, who must have forgotten his lucky plantain.

Arlington: Rangers 10, Tigers 4
So, that amazing pitchers duel turned out to be kind of a huge disappointment. Justin Verlander didn't make it out the third inning after giving up eight runs. Yu Darvish allowed four runs in eight innings while striking out six, which is OK, I guess.

Oakland: Spurs 94, Warriors 82
Sigh. Steph Curry and the NBA's postseason darlings got chased off by the boring old men. Curry played well, finishing with 22 points, but he was only 2-8 for downtown. We are sad.

New York: Knicks 85, Pacers 75
Not a single person got any enjoyment out of watching this game, unless they are a big fan of turnovers and clanked shots. Even Knicks fans just wanted it to end as quickly as possible. The torture continues Saturday night.

Yeah, if Westbrook's absence did one thing, it was reveal that Scott Brooks doesn't have a coaching strategy that goes beyond "Let Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook go crazy and win games for us." Read more

Sacramento: The Kings are staying, officially.
And George Maloof is hiding in a bell stand closet. Perfect.

New York: Mariners 12, Yankees 2
Raul Ibanez hit a two-run homer and a grand slam to lead the Mariners in a rout over the Yankees. That is a real thing that happened.

Detroit: Astros 7, Tigers 5
Miguel Cabrera came up to bat with two outs and the bases loaded in the ninth, and he came thisclose to being a hero. I suppose the Astros deserve to have things break their way once in awhile.

Los Angeles: Dodgers 3, Nationals 1
Zack Greinke returned to the mound for the first time since being bulldozed by Carlos Quentin, and he looked pretty good, pitching five-and-one-thirds innings and striking out four. The "non-concussed" Bryce Harper pinch-hit in the ninth and grounded out to first base.

Chicago: Blackhawks 4, Red Wings 1
This one was a 1-1 tie in the first period, and stayed that way until about halfway through the third, at which point the Hawks exploded for three goals, because the Hawks are good at hockey.

Oklahoma City: Grizzlies 88, Thunder 84
Aaaaaan that'll do it for the Russell Westbrook-less Thunder. Yes, Kevin Durant had a bad shooting night, and he missed a potential game-tying shot, but if you try to say anything about how "unclutch" he is, we can't be friends.
