No. Daulerio and Clay were hired to be co-editors because Denton didn’t entirely trust A.J. yet and he wanted an “established” name to help out. Daulerio, being Daulerio, had him pushed out in a matter of weeks and shaped the site in the image, and pushed it in the direction, it should have been going all along.

I’ve never looked at Reddit in my life, so I can’t speak to that, but I do hate ads, particularly ones that are impossible to get around and upset the simple experience of trying to read a damn dick joke. Though I think Gawker Media isn’t nearly as bad as a lot of other companies are about it.
