USMNT Rip Win Away After Late Ghana Equalizer

After dominating most of the second half Ghana finally tied the match on André Ayew's 82nd-minute strike. Ghana were pressing the action and finally plunged the dagger we all seemed to be waiting for after the quick and early lead.

Less inevitable was the response. Four minutes later, the sort-of maligned John Brooks came through with a header to put the the U.S. back up, 2-1. Brooks's goal was the first goal ever scored by a sub for Team USA in the World Cup.
