....And, We’re Back

It’s been awhile but The Stacks is back and ready to roll. I’ve been keeping busy this past year editing and curating Esquire Classic, the magazine’s digital archives. It is a subscription site but every so often there’s a piece that is free, and I will be sure to hip you to those—like Stanley Booth’s killer 1968 Elvis profile, or novelist Donald Barthelme’s 1969 ode to The Ed Sullivan Show, or even Luke Dittrich’s charming 2012 essay about how to choose a gift for a kid.

In the meantime, we’ve got a bumper crop of classic magazine and newspaper storytelling in store for you. Stay tuned.
