The plastic in the footwell is because 1.) the line into the heater core is leaking or 2.) the AC condensation drain line is clogged.

I’m fuckin’ heaven over here. What a car. How many gearboxes has he rebuilt? Don’t drive it till it breaks, because then it’s not really rebuildable. When it starts popping out or whining in 5th, the pinion and input shaft bearings are almost dead. Pull it and fix it!

Being a Convertible. I have a 200k mile 90 900 turbo that I diverted from a junkyard. Is it objectively a “nice” car? No, but the top goes down, and from May-October that singlehandedly justifies all the work I put into it.

It was all of 20 MPH around the racetrack at a local fairgrounds. I think I was 13 or so, seemed awesome at the time. Dangerous and terrifying in hindsight. I have a ‘22 Model T that seems Volvo-safe in comparison.
