This is my favorite Dogfish Head, but the price is prohibitive in my opinion. Still, it is fantastic. Read more

I had a 2007 or so Burton Baton back in 2010. I can't tell you what it tasted like, but I sure was talking about it for a few months. Would definitely like to get another. If you've got another bottle lying around, age that shit a few years. Read more

It's worth noting Stone has an Enjoy By Black IPA in the pipeline to replace one of their core beers they recently retired (Levitation and Sublimely Self Righteous). No idea when it's gonna be released, but I'm looking forward to it. Read more

The moral of my story was originally "fresh is bestest", but I went in a complete new direction. Read more

Not like it is some special privilege these days knowing a brewer , but I know of one here in town who, during my last visit to one of the local breweries, was nice enough to let me sample his newest batch of brew fresh out of the barrel... was actually measuring the CO2 with some fancy bong looking machine while I Read more

I literally just finished a bottle when I saw this. I'll be honest: I've been continually underwhelmed by regular Sculpin (Heresy! Burn him at the stake!), but this right here? Suffice to say that I'm quite glad that I followed through on this particular whim while at the beer store. Read more

I tried them both this weekend. Sriracha is exactly what you would expect from Rogue which is the king of gimmicky beers. Habanero is exactly what you'd expect from Ballast Point. If you don't like spicy things, you won't like it but not because it's poorly made. Read more

I tried this for the first time the other day but actually bought real piece of grapefruit to taste the day before, as I hadn't had it since I was a child and thought I didn't like it. Come to find out as an adult I do like grapefruit. Read more

Another non-shandy shandy to try is the Duclaw Hop Continuum Blood Orange. It had the same amount of orange as the BP had grapefruit, IMO. Read more

My mom lives in Windsor, VT where the other brewery is located among the trees, right by the Connecticut River for kayaking, and they have cyclocross races right in the grass area in front of the patio. Go there if you can!
