Brittney Griner slammed home the first dunk in the history of the WNBA playoffs during last night's rout of the L.A. Sparks.
Late in the third quarter, Griner picked a steal at the top three-point line and broke for the other end, finishing the play with an impressive dunk. Griner really is the only woman in the WNBA who can pull off a dunk like this—on the run, two hands on the rim, not needing to stop to gather herself—and it's cool to see her get a chance to flex her abilities in the playoffs. She also went 9-of-9 from the field last night and scored 21 points.
