Patrice Bergeron scored the game-tying and game-winning goals for the Bruins.
It looked like for all the world that the Maple Leafs were going to win this game and complete the comeback from down 3-1 in the series. With 50 seconds left in the third period Bergeron tied it up and unleashed Jack Edwards. Then, following up the loose puck on his own shot at 6:05 of overtime, he did it again.
For fans of the Maple Leafs, if there is a worse way to lose a game, and a series, I don't want to see it. The first playoff appearance since 2004 looks to be a quick one but Toronto battles back with two wins to force a Game 7, takes a two-goal lead into the final two minutes of regulation and then loses the series. Dumbfounding. Dumbfounding is the word I would use, were I a Leafs fan.
This is the Toronto crowd right after the overtime goal. Watch them. They're barely upset; most of them just stand there, staring blankly at the enormous screen.
