13 are injured and two are dead, including Seton Hill's pregnant head coach, after a bus carrying the Seton Hill University women's lacrosse team crashed on the Pennsylvania Turnpike this morning. Three of the injured players were airlifted from the scene by helicopters, and seven others have already been discharged from the hospital. A tour bus from Seton Hill University went off the road and crashed into trees near Carlisle while traveling to Lancaster this morning on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
Pennsylvania Turnpike spokeswoman Renee Colborn said the bus was carrying 23 Seton Hill lacrosse players and three coaches when it crashed at about 9 a.m. Saturday on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
The driver died and 14 were taken to hospitals, three by helicopters.
Seton Hill University is a Catholic school near Pittsburgh. About 2,500 students attend.
According to CBS21, the team was traveling to Millersville University in Lancaster, an away game that was slated for today at 1 p.m.
Of note—this March hasn't been kind to buses carrying lacrosse teams in the Northeast.
Update, 12:04 p.m.: Just as we posted, the title of the excerpted Sentinel report changed to "Second fatality confirmed at tour bus crash on Turnpike near Carlisle," and the following was appended to the top:
A reporter at the press conference said the Cumberland County coroner has confirmed a second death at the scene of a tour bus crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike this morning near Carlisle.

The Cumberland County Coroner's Office has confirmed the identify of the two individuals who died this morning in a bus crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike just east of Carlisle.
Anthony M. Guaetta, 61, of Johnstown died at the scene of the crash. He was driving the bus at the time of the accident.
Kristina J. Quigley, 30, of Greensburg died at the Hershey Medical Center from injuries suffered in the crash. She was about six months pregnant. Her unborn child did not survive, the coroner said. Quigley was the head coach of the Seton Hill women's lacrosse team.
The paper is now reporting that 21 people were taken to local hospitals after the accident, as opposed to initial reports that 14 people had been transported to hospitals.
