Corey Kluber Continues To Be Ridiculous, Gets Cleveland Franchise-Record 15th Straight Win

Cleveland continued their recent streak of insane dominance tonight, beating the White Sox for their franchise-record 15th win in a row. Corey Kluber, as usual, was a huge contributing factor.

Kluber struck out 13, his 14th double-digit strikeout game of the season. After letting the White Sox on the board with two home runs in the first, he allowed only one more hit for the rest of the night.

The offense, meanwhile, put on another near-gaudy display with 11 runs, including two dingers by Erik Gonzalez and the first career home run for rookie Greg Allen.

Cleveland’s victory is also a local window company’s cue to pay up, after they declared that they would celebrate their 15th year in business by refunding all home improvement projects from the month of July if the team could win 15 straight games from August onward. There goes $1.7 million.
