Heavy rain started falling in the bottom of the fifth at Wrigley tonight and, just like the New York crew at Yankee Stadium a few weeks ago, the Chicago grounds crew struggggggled to get the tarp on the field. As you can see, this thing was botched from Jump Street and it only got worse with huge pools of water on the right side of the infield. In the video below, things really deteriorate and Wrigley actually started booing the crew.
In this video from the Chicago Sun-Times, you can really hear the boos, even though barely anyone is left outside. A "Pull, pull, pull!" chant also started.

UPDATE: The crew regrouped and made a final surge to cover the infield. By this time, the crowd appears to have turned back on their side and was cheering them on the whole way and when they finally got the job done, the fans chanted "USA, USA, USA!" Again, via the Chicago Sun-Times:
