Darren Rovell tweeted something tonight that incorrectly assumed Detroit Lions great Alex Karras had died. Karras is gravely ill, but not dead. Rovell's tweet was unfortunate, but everyone makes mistakes. Alas, he followed it up with this:
Now, Rovell has never been one to cop to his massive reporting failures, but this time he actually claimed some guy was dead. And yet he brushed it off with a cool non-apology apology, while explaining that he was a big fan of Webster. Uh-huh. Stick to Gatorade, chief.
