Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant had a lot to say to reporters after his team’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks. While being asked a series of questions about the game, Bryant broke off and went on a mini-rant about his perceived reaction to Ricardo Lockette’s devastating injury.
Bryant’s beef was with a few reporters who tweeted out video of Bryant yelling at someone while Lockette was laying motionless on the ground, the implication being that Bryant was saying unkind things about the injured player.
Even in the moment it was stupid to make assumptions about who Bryant was talking to or what he was saying, but these tweets looked even worse after the game, when Seahawks linebacker Bruce Irvin explained that Bryant was yelling at the referees:
Let’s stop for a moment and appreciate the fact that technology allowed Dez Bryant to chastise reporters for bad tweets they sent just minutes after the game ended. We truly live in amazing times.
