Donald Trump Clears Time In His Busy Schedule To Complain About Golf Magazine Being Fake News

Golf Magazine published a story yesterday titled “First Golfer: Donald Trump’s relationship with golf has never been more complicated,” detailing the president’s connection to the sport. It included this tidbit on the subject of how much time he’s been spending at his Bedminster, N.J., golf club:

Chatting with some members before a recent round of golf, he explained his frequent appearances: “That White House is a real dump.” (A White House spokesperson denies this occurred.)

Trump decided to let everyone know this evening that he views Golf as just another piece of the fake news lame-stream media, noting that he totally thinks the White House is one of the most gorgeous buildings he’s ever seen. (But, like, “home” category only.)

The writer of the piece, Alan Shipnuck, explained his reporting on a Golf podcast today. Considering that this is Trump’s idea of the gold standard for interior design, him calling the White House a dump doesn’t seem especially far-fetched.
