Last night, Doug Collins’s team got the ball back with just under 24 seconds left in the game, up on the Hawks 99-80. The conundrum: going for the points could seem like showing up the other team; not going for the points is unquestionably a grave insult to the fans, who showed up as much for the chance at a Big Mac as for the basketball.
