The guy in the blue Cardinals hat caught a foul ball right behind the visitors' dugout in St. Louis and kindly gave the ball to a sweet and innocent-looking child next to him. Turns out he was sitting next to Max Demian. He quickly took the ball and fired it back onto the field. Here's what I think of kindness!
We kid, obviously, because everything turned out fine. Someone was able to retrieve the ball from the field and give it back. The kid learned a valuable lesson that day: only throw back visiting-team homers, and try to have a phony ball when you do it. The dude also learned a lesson: he's hanging on to that ball until it's safe to give it back.
