Is USA Track & Field the batch of bumbling idiots they appear? Or are they simply inept liars? That's on track and field's mind this morning.
Flotrack has reported that USATF, the multi-million dollar national governing body charged with nurturing the next generation of Olympians they've already sold to Nike, could not figure out how to use Dropbox.
In an attempt to share a video from the Penn Relays that implies they're not all overpaid and deaf to the cries of their constituency, USATF forgot to take out a 37-minute video of previously unreleased footage reviewed by referees and officials to not disqualify, then disqualify, and then un-disqualify a national champion.
USATF, realizing their mistake, immediately had their grandson show them what buttons to press to remove it from circulation. But you'll probably be able to see a copy soon enough, because of course they forgot to check the "For The Love Of God Don't Download" box.
UPDATE: The internet is not hard.
UPDATE: LetsRun.com also downloaded a copy. The unedited version is here, and a four-minute clip is here.
