Isaiah Thomas Is Out For The Rest Of The Playoffs

Whatever scrap of hope the Celtics might have had for being able to resemble something competitive against the Cavaliers is probably gone: Isaiah Thomas is officially out for the remainder of the postseason.

Thomas sat out last night’s second half with a re-aggravated hip injury, which has officially been diagnosed as a right femoral-acetabular impingement with labral tear. He initially injured the hip in March.

Thomas led the team in points, assists and minutes this season. Games 3 and 4 are Sunday and Tuesday, respectively; mark your calendars for some old-fashioned competitive basketball.
