The new Dipset song, "Have My Money," is good, but now there's a cool, laid-back video to match the old-school beat, and it makes the song itself a jillion times better. Besides, it's just good to see the apparently reunited Harlem rap collective hanging out and having a good time.
Cam'ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Freekey Zeekey, and friends are currently on a reunion tour hosted by New York DJ Funkmaster Flex, who is taking this matter seriously. The tour will be followed by a Flex-hosted mixtape and ... maybe more touring? Plus, Cam has promised to finally record Purple Haze 2. More shows might be wishful thinking, maybe, but honestly, it's nice to see these guys (most of them, at least) together again at all. The only other time we've really seen it in video form lately is a clip from the A-Trak/Cam'ron collaboration Dipshits that came out last summer.
Flash-forward to now, and the Dipset crew seems like they're having fun again. Also, per the video, while we're on the topic of money, there's always money in touring, and that's something the Diplomats seem to enjoy. [h/t The Fader]
