It's Never Too Early For Bowling

Holy crap, the bowl games are starting already. In fact Wake Forest and Navy are underway at RFK Stadium in the famed EagleBank Bowl. This soon-to-be classic will be followed up by another three epic showdowns as the day goes on.

Navy vs. Wake Forest- The Midshipmen stormed out to a 13-0 lead in the second quarter on the Deamon Deacons of Wake Forest, and it's looking like a bowl win for a service academy. The two quarterbacks in question have combined for a whopping 13 yards of passing Shun White has racked up over 50 yards on the ground and Rashawn King recovered a Wake Forest Fumble and returned it for the game's only touchdown.

Colorado State vs. Fresno State- Behold the majesty of the New Mexico Bowl! The Bulldogs have stumbled through a once-promising season to a 7-5 record, and today they'll meet the slightly more mediocre Rams who enter at 6-6. The Bulldogs are three point favorites, but if you're betting on this game you should probably get some help.

Memphis vs. South Florida- I don't know what the hell it is, but hey, how 'bout that magicJack St. Petersburg Bowl?! Is there really a bowl game named after the company with the shady sounding phone service that just started showing during commercial breaks? Yep, this is what we've come to. These two teams come in with the same records as those in the previous game, so you know how good they are. Hell, South Florida went 2-5 in the Big East, so that has to be good for something, right?

BYU vs. Arizona Without question today's top game is the Pioneer Las Vegas Bowl. What's more awkward than a team of devout Mormon's in Vegas? Why throw in some David Hasselhoff of course! Arizona's token celebrity fan will be singing the National Anthem for reasons that aren't immediately clear, and the coeds will be out in full force trying to corrupt blond-haired blue-eyed boys wearing strange underwear. Wheeeeee!
