Less than two hours before tip-off, the Cavaliers announced that J.R. Smith would be suspended for tonight’s game against the 76ers.
Head coach Ty Lue told reporters that the suspension resulted from something that happened after this morning’s shootaround, but he declined to specify any further.
“He was great this morning,” Lue told Cleveland.com. “Something happened after shootaround, so, that’s all the details I’m going to give to you. He’ll be ready for tomorrow and be ready to go on Saturday.”
