Los Angeles Kings Beat Blackhawks In Overtime, Advance To Stanley Cup

KINGS-WIN

The Kings beat the Blackhawks 5-4 in overtime of Game 7 and advance to the Stanley Cup Final. It was another wonky goal in a game full of wonky goals.

About four minutes into the overtime period, Alec Martinez fired a wrist shot toward the net that appeared to deflect off Nick Leddy, acting like a change-up, and Corey Crawford got all crossed up and it fluttered past him into the net. Tyler Toffoli, who may have gotten his stick on it before the puck hit Leddy, was credited with goal.

Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Rangers is Wednesday in Los Angeles.
