Michael Phelps's 200-Meter Butterfly Was Beautiful

Michael Phelps just won Olympic gold in the 200-meter butterfly. It’s his 20th lifetime gold medal and the perfect narrative conclusion to his comeback from having faltered in that very same race four years ago. It looked pretty cool, too.

In 2012, Phelps lost to Chad le Clos of South Africa, seen here realizing that Monday night’s death stare was just the beginning of Phelps’ payback.

Phelps finished the race in 1 minute, 53.36 seconds. Tamás Kenderesi of Hungary, left, won Bronze and le Clos, right, came in fourth.

His son, Boomer, is a great sports baby.
