In the last few seconds of Penn State’s 56-0 demolition of Georgia State on Saturday, the Panthers lined up to kick a field goal and at least get some points on the board. The 31-yard attempt went through the uprights, but Penn State coach James Franklin had called a timeout just before the ball was snapped. Rudely iced, the kicker lined up to take another shot, and missed. This is how Franklin explained the unnecessary timeout after the game:

The great thing about this rant is how excitedly Francesa gets through the backstory so that he can get to the LOUD YELLING part as fast as possible. It’s good to see the man still has some enthusiasm for his craft.
