Eagles running back Darren Sproles ran into the worst luck imaginable yesterday, reportedly breaking his arm and tearing his ACL on the same play against the Giants. Adam Schefter says Sproles will have surgery on his arm today, then surgery on his ACL later.

It seems like the ACL tear probably happened when his leg buckled and went under, leading to a hard fall on his right arm. It’s a tough set of injuries for anyone, but especially for a 34-year-old running back.
