CBS 3 in Philly is reporting that Ravens running back Bernard Pierce was robbed at gunpoint and had his BMW stolen Sunday night in West Philly.
Pierce, who played three years at Temple and is from the suburbs just west of Philly, was with a male companion when a gunman jumped from a car and robbed both of them. The gunman was with an accomplice who remained in the other car.
Pierce's BMW was later found in another part of the city and is being processed for clues. CBS 3 says the Ravens told them they are aware of the situation. Neither Pierce nor his companion was injured.
Update (8:08 p.m.): The Philadelphia Daily News says Pierce's companion is his cousin, and that Pierce also had his wallet and cell phone stolen.
