After the Cleveland Cavaliers’ comeback win over the Boston Celtics, the TNT NBA crew of Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley, Ernie Johnson, and Kenny Smith were on hand to offer up some post-game insights. Ostensibly.
Things got derailed when O’Neal said Barkley “had no idea what we’re talking about” because he had only been to one NBA finals as a player. Then Barkley charged Shaq with “riding on Kobe’s coattails.” Then Shaq said people question why Barkley was in the Hall of Fame anyhow, called him a bum, and threatened to “punch [Barkley] right in [his] face.” And then Barkley said he’d “throw one of these chicken wings at [Shaq’s] fat ass.”
Smith tried valiantly to get things back on track and Johnson whined about why things had to “get personal” before giving up and defeatedly eating his chicken.
Better TV than the actual NBA playoffs.
