Spurs Win After DeAndre Jordan Interferes With Shot On Its Way In

BASKET-INTERFERENCE

Tuesday’s Clippers-Spurs game was an absolute nail-biter.

With just under seven seconds left, Los Angeles had the ball down one. Blake Griffin received the ball on the inbounds pass, made a quick move toward the middle of the paint and let go of a floater that appeared to be going in. But DeAndre Jordan touched the ball as it rolled around on the rim, drawing an offensive interference call that negated the basket.

That ball really looked like it was about to roll in before Jordan touched it. The goaltending turned out to be the Clippers’s last possession, as they failed to rebound a missed free throw and let San Antonio ice the game at the line.

The Spurs now lead 3-2, and the series moves to San Antonio for game six.
