Jason Day hit an errant drive on the second hole today at the PGA Championship and found himself barefoot, traversing a stream and marshlands in rolled-up pants in an effort to track it down. The ball was lost, then found, then lost again, before Day finally got to hit out of the mess and save par.
CBS broadcaster David Feherty actually helped find it (both times!), but then inexplicably left the spot where the ball was and helped Day climb up the shelf on the other side of the stream. They found it much quicker the second time around and Day's caddy tossed him a club across the stream so Day could hit it out. He made his way back near the fairway and eventually saved par.
Day began the...day just one stroke behind Rory McIlroy for the tournament lead and both scored pars on the second hole, but only one was an adventure.
