Last chance, Big Ten.
Should the teams of the Big Ten keep doing what they do ‒ losing football games to members of other conferences ‒ it's going to be difficult to see Big Ten conference play as anything other than clumsy toddlers fighting with other clumsy toddlers. With Iowa @ Pitt, Maryland @ Syracuse, Michigan hosting Utah, Indiana @ Missouri and Nebraska hosting Miami, this week is the conference's last chance to salvage any tiny little shred of their reputation.
Meanwhile, no one gets to see the best player in the nation, on the nation's top-ranked team, play maybe the biggest game on his schedule, because everyone is going to be punished for everything now.
