War Machine Is Back On Twitter

Former MMA fighter War Machine (born Jonathan Koppenhaver) is currently in Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas as he awaits trial for the beating of Christy Mack. His next appearance in court is an Oct. 17 preliminary hearing at which Mack is expected to testify. Somehow, he (or someone else) found a way to tweet out a couple of poems he wrote.

His Twitter return kicked off with a Nietzsche quote:

The first poem, blockquoted here because it runs well over 140 characters:

Roses are red

I found a man in our bed.

Than to discover this...

I'd rather be dead.

So hurt and confused

My heart has been abused.

Too beautiful our plans

To not be used.

How could you forget

And carry on with no regret?

You're a stranger now...

You sold your soul I bet.

Publicity, money, fame

Is this all just a game?

It was you who I loved ya know...

Not just a name.

Yes, I'm that bored. Hope you enjoyed the attempt at levity (at my expense) in the first 2 lines...FML.

And the second:

Pain!

On the inside

Pain!

I wish it were outside

Pain!

How can I fight it?

Pain!

I can't even hide it.

Pain!

Not cured by a pill.

Pain!

It's testing my will.

Pain!

Deeper and deeper.

Pain!

I pray for the reaper..

These are bad poems.
