Got an image you'd like to see in here first thing in the morning? Send it to [email protected]. Subject: Morning crap. Any result that can get a poor, pathetic Cubs fan out from beneath his porch and put a smile on his face has to be a good thing, right? No matter what your political bent (nice Ron Paul legwarmers, Iracane), you have to admit that Tuesday night's celebration in Grant Park was dramatically unique. Something's in the air, whether it be change, or hope, or staph bacteria blowing in from Cleveland; we have definitely turned a page here. Many of you aren't old enough to remember a time when a Clinton or a Bush wasn't in the White House — it's been 24 years — so no matter who you voted for on Tuesday, let's congratulate ourselves on the beginning of a new era. Me? I'm just enjoying my free Krispy Kreme donut, and all the other swag I collected by showing my "I Voted" sticker last night. What a great country (sniff). Following the jump, more photos from last night's Grant Park celebration.
